Challenge

Here's the challenge. I'm throwing down a gauntlet to those of you at the TOP of the laundry chute. I'm yellin up at ya'll. Tell me who you are...and you musn't let ego dictate ANY of your words. Brutal honesty. Don't try to impress. Just tell me who you are. I don't want vital statistics. Let me know if I can print you? There are no prizes. Obviously. No rules. Sleep on it. On a fluffy down comforter. xoxoxoxoxoxox

Stuff From the Laundry Chute Philosophy

I fell down a laundry chute as a child.

I'd never created a blog, but some very good people suggested I post my stories.

I wasn't quite sure where to begin. The laundry chute seemed like a good analogy, so that's where I began.

The point is, I climbed right in to that chute to see where it would take me. I haven't been a terribly spontaneous person after that experience because it scared the shit out of me. I blame Lewis Caroll. I was crazy into Down the Rabbit Hole in those days.

This is how it all went down, excuse the pun.

Mrs. Noll lived in a Victorian home with excellent window seats and hidden spaces. I would stay with her sometimes. The laundry chute was on the top floor and went all the way to the basement.

She read the Alice stories to me so it seemed like a natural thing to do...that chute.

I consider my descent down that tin-lined thing as a benchmark for my odd take on things. After all, it seems as if we're either looking up, or looking down, right? Sometimes our days end on bare cement floors and sometimes we have cushy, quilt landings.

Still, we travel down that chute every day Ladies and Gentlemen. Can I get a witness?

These stories are my perspectives on a variety of situations.

Regardless of the view from the bottom or the top,

it's still all about how you land.
